No, climbing is an activity accessible to everyone with no special requirements. The base camp caters to all levels, so there are boulders specifically designed for beginners who want to get started without skipping steps. Our staff is here to advise you if it's your first session.

For safety reasons and to ensure a quality experience for our climbers, children under 12 are not admitted to Le camp de base. However, Le camp d'approche located just 1km away as the crow flies, has been specially designed for younger climbers.

Teens aged 12 to 16 inclusive can either come climbing accompanied by a responsible adult or come climbing independently, provided they have parental authorization. Without this authorization, access to the gym will be denied.

> Get authorization

At Camp de base, only liquid chalk is permitted. Please respect this policy and use it sparingly.

Whether it's 0° or 35° outside, wearing a T-shirt or sports bra is mandatory for everyone. We're all in this together, and it's much nicer when we follow the same rules :)
An illustrator and regular climber at Le camp de base @papiersmaches has created a great comic that explores the T-shirt policy in climbing gyms.
